Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to https://mistrycakescouture.co.uk/ (the “website”), operated by Mistry Cakes Couture (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the website you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

What this website is for
The website is a portfolio of our work and a way to contact us about a commission. You cannot place an order or make a payment through the website. Any cake, dessert table or croquembouche is commissioned separately: after an enquiry we provide a written quotation, and the booking terms supplied with that quotation (deposit, payment schedule, changes, cancellation, delivery, allergens) form the contract between us. Nothing on the website is an offer capable of acceptance.
Prices, portfolio and descriptions
- Any prices shown are indicative “from” guide prices in pounds sterling and may change without notice. The price for your commission is the one confirmed in your quotation.
- Photographs show previous bespoke commissions. Every cake is handmade, so colours, sugar work and finishes will vary from image to image and from any design we agree with you.
- We try to keep the website accurate but do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or error-free.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry we will use your details to reply and, if you wish, to arrange a consultation. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date; dates are reserved only under the booking terms once a deposit is received.
Intellectual property
- All content on the website — photographs, text, cake designs, the Mistry Cakes Couture name and crown device — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trade-mark law.
- You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, publish, scrape or use any content commercially, or use our designs to commission work elsewhere, without our written permission.
- Press and venue logos shown on the website belong to their respective owners and are displayed to describe where our work has appeared.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website in any way that is unlawful, that could damage or overload it, that attempts to gain unauthorised access, or that sends unsolicited, abusive or automated messages through the contact form. We may block access to anyone who breaches these terms.
Third-party links and services
The website links to social-media profiles, wedding directories and other third-party sites, and uses third-party services for functions such as the contact-form security check and the map on the Contact page. Those sites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.
Availability
We aim to keep the website available but may suspend, withdraw or change it at any time without notice, including for maintenance. We are not liable if the website is unavailable at any time.
Our liability
- The website and its content are provided for general information only and “as is”. They are not professional advice.
- To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on its content, including indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the website at the time you use it applies.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about them or the website, are governed by the law of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EEA you also benefit from any mandatory protections of your local law.
